Provisional Thesis: Case-specific 3D models of arbitrarily complex branched topologies for modelling morphology and growth
My research work involves generating geometric models from three-dimensional images obtained from medical scans and assessing the reconstruction accuracy using voxel and surface based accuracy metrics. Statistical nature of surface deviation errors arising due to voxelization of continuous geometries was also explored. Quantifying the smoothing behaviour using Laplace-Beltrami spectral analysis and morphological analysis of tubular geometries form the other research domains my work spans across.

Thesis: Numerical study of induction hardening on rocker arm shaft using STARCCM+ and DEFORM
This works involves the simulation of the induction hardening process - Heat transfer simulation using CFD tool STARCCM+, followed by CAM tool DEFORM to compute residual stresses due to quenching.

Thesis: Design of control system to delay stall using active flow control · CTFD, NAL-CSIR
This work is a four-module project: CFD validation on NACA0012, inclusion of synthetic jets for active flow control, simulation of piezo-resistive sensor arrays, and control system design to optimise synthetic jet parameters.
